Our client is one of the most recognizable producers of cold cuts and meat products in central Poland, with over 100 years of tradition. For years, the company has enjoyed customer trust thanks to high-quality products and a strong regional brand. Currently, the organization is preparing for one of the most important stages in its history – a comprehensive operational, production, and commercial transformation. The new leader will have a real impact on the company’s future: from conducting an audit of the current situation, through developing and implementing a restructuring plan, to building a modern sales department and implementing quality standards.

Location: Central Poland

Your responsibilities:

  • Responsibility for the company’s strategic, operational, and financial results – managing the organization in a way that ensures its long-term development, competitiveness, and profitability.
  • Creating and implementing the company’s development strategy, including its market repositioning and business model modernization.
  • Conducting a comprehensive audit of the organization, covering production, sales, employment structure, and process efficiency.
  • Developing and implementing a restructuring plan, aimed at increasing sales, improving profitability, and optimizing operating costs.
  • Building modern commercial structures – reorganizing and developing a sales department focused on results, efficiency, and expansion.
  • Optimizing and standardizing the product offering – adapting the assortment to market needs and the company’s production capabilities.
  • Developing an organizational culture based on responsibility, commitment, and results orientation – inspiring change and strengthening employee competencies.
  • Managing social relations – conducting negotiations and constructive dialogue with trade unions in the context of planned changes.
  • Implementing modern quality and efficiency standards in production, while maintaining a high level of safety and compliance with regulations.
  • Cooperation with the Supervisory Board – reporting progress, presenting strategic proposals, and jointly making key decisions.

Required competencies:

  • Experience in leading restructuring processes in organizations of similar scale (production and trade, food industry).
  • Knowledge of the meat industry or, more broadly, the food industry, with an understanding of the specifics of production, logistics, and sales channels (including modern retail).
  • Ability to manage change, make difficult decisions, and simultaneously communicate flexibly, especially in relations with employees and trade unions.
  • Strong results and efficiency orientation – operates based on hard data and metrics (KPIs).
  • Ability to work in a unionized and production environment – on the one hand, decisive and courageous, on the other, communicative and diplomatic.
  • Ability to build a modern organizational culture – engaging employees and strengthening accountability for results.
  • Documented successes in increasing sales, operational efficiency, and implementing quality standards in production.
  • Leadership competencies – ability to build and motivate a team, initiate change, and introduce the organization to a modern management model.
  • Readiness for relocation and full availability (preferred candidates from Łódź Voivodeship or those willing to relocate).
