Our client is one of the largest and most recognizable retail organizations in Poland – a leader in FMCG distribution, combining wholesale and franchise operations. For over two decades, they have been supporting thousands of independent stores by providing products, know-how, and sales support tools. Today, the company is entering a crucial phase of digital transformation – focusing on integrating products, technology, and data into a coherent ecosystem to strengthen the competitiveness of the entire network.

Why should you join?

This is a unique opportunity to become a member of an organization that is actively transforming the way Polish retail operates. The Head of Product position offers broad opportunities and real impact: from creating product strategy and vision to shaping processes and team development in a modern product model. The person in this role will have the space to implement product management best practices, build a data-driven culture, and create solutions used daily by consumers and franchisees.

Your responsibilities:

  • Creating and implementing product portfolio strategy (mobile application, loyalty program, franchisee tools, data & retail media).
  • Defining vision, value proposition, and product development roadmap combining B2C and B2B.
  • Consolidating existing tools into 1-3 products and migrating users to the new application without losing retention and conversion.
  • Implementing product work standards (OKR, KPI, decision log, governance), maintaining transparency and consistency in product decision-making.
  • Coordinating cross-functional teams: product, UX, technology, marketing, purchasing, logistics, and finance.
  • Building a work culture based on data, accountability, and collaboration.
  • Managing complete product budget (CAPEX/OPEX) and product P&L.
  • Supporting data monetization and communication channels for manufacturers (data & retail media).
  • Reporting results and project progress directly to the board member for digitalization.

Required competencies:

  • Higher education in business, IT, marketing, or logistics. Post-graduate studies or MBA related to product management or strategy is a plus.
  • Minimum 7-10 years of experience in digital product management – from vision stage through implementation to commercialization.
  • Documented success in building and developing products in e-commerce, retail, or platforms combining B2C and B2B.
  • Experience in managing complex cross-functional projects.
  • Experience working in organizations undergoing transformation or product centralization, where portfolio organization, documentation, and process streamlining were key.
  • Knowledge of Agile and Lean methodologies and ability to implement practices such as OKR, KPI, A/B testing, and product experiments.
  • Ability to manage full product P&L and make decisions based on data and measurable business impact.
  • Experience in managing and developing product teams – from recruitment through mentoring to building a culture of accountability and collaboration.
  • Emotional intelligence: a leader building a culture of collaboration, accountability, and managerial courage.
  • English language proficiency at minimum C1 level
  • Driver’s license category B

We offer:

  • A decisive role with high visibility and real impact on the overall strategy and development of the digital product portfolio.
  • Participation in key organizational transformation: co-creating a new ecosystem of products connecting B2C-B2B worlds
  • Full business responsibility: impact on results, budget, investments, and product effectiveness.
  • High-potential team: 3-4 PM/POs, central UX, and support from technology and analytics teams.
  • High level of autonomy and space to implement product management best practices.
  • Stable employment conditions: employment contract, attractive base salary + annual performance bonus.
  • Company car and full corporate benefits package.
